INFORMATION: The City recognizes the importance of applying for funding opportunities through various federal and state agencies and community resources. This approval allows departments to apply for grants without delay, noting any grants awarded will still need to be approved by City Council.
FISCAL & STAFF IMPACT: Grants are a form of financial assistance that fund ideas and projects in order to provide public services, relieving the City’s general fund of the financial burden.
