INFORMATION: Resolution No. R25-75 was the first step in the statutory procedural requirements for having a tax levy placed on a ballot. While the Montgomery County Board of Elections and the Ohio Secretary of State have accepted our legislation and the issue will appear on the May 5th ballot, the resolution must be formally amended to correctly express the dollars for each $100,000 of the county auditor’s market value.
FISCAL & STAFF IMPACT: The renewal of this levy is critical to the continued operation of the City’s General Fund.
RECOMMENDATION: Recommend Approval
