INFORMATION: Motion 03/03/2025; File 25-05. In June 2024, Administration believes there is a need to implement a policy that no application for a variance that is substantially similar to an application that has been denied, wholly or in part, shall be reconsidered (unless voted to reconsider by the Board/Commission during the same meeting as the original application) or accepted for a period of one (1) year.
Further, the decision standards recommended by the Ohio Supreme Court need to be included in the Code. These standards will help the Board of Zoning Appeals be consistent when determining whether to approved or deny a variance.

RECOMMENDATION: Recommend Approval
