INFORMATION: The City of Trotwood is seeking to become an AARP recognized “Age-Friendly Community.” This designation is a multi-year planning effort focused on recognizing and enhancing age-friendly, livable aspects of your community. With the support of a $15,000.00 grant from the Dayton Fund at the Dayton Foundation, the City has secured a consultant to conduct a comprehensive livability assessment for the City so to identify the needs and opportunities for creating a more livable and age-friendly community. An initial planning session with the steering committee and the consultant will take place on Wednesday, December 11, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with a light lunch to be provided.
FISCAL & STAFF IMPACT: Expenditures not to exceed $200.00 include a light lunch, water, and other necessary supplies.
RECOMMENDATION: Recommend Approval
