INFORMATION: Motion 26-12; 06/01/2026. The City would like to amend the Code of Ordinances to specify the types of vehicles and/or trailers that can be stored on residential properties. The intent of the current regulation was to limit commercial vehicles such as semi-trucks, in residential areas as they create traffic concerns and damage residential roads that are not built for such traffic. In 2025, the City began intensifying the enforcement of this regulation citing citizens for vehicles such as campers, utility trailers, and boats. However, due to increased citizen concern, staff reviewed the current regulations.
