A RESOLUTION BY THE TROTWOOD CITY COUNCIL RATIFYING ALL ACTIONS TAKEN ACCEPTING THE BID OF LJ DEWEESE CO., INC. FOR WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT AND RELATED WORK ON EPPINGTON DRIVE AND MACMILLAN DRIVE; AND RATIFYING ALL ACTIONS TAKEN ENTERING INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH SAID CONTRACTOR TO COMPLETE PHASE ONE AND PHASE TWO OF THIS PROJECT FOR AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $2,603,399.12, WHICH IS THE CONTRACT AMOUNT OF $2,366,726.47, PLUS A 10% CONTINGENCY AMOUNT OF $236,672.65.

INFORMATION: Five (5) bids were received for work on Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the Eppington Drive and MacMillan Drive Water Main Replacement project. A bid analysis performed by the Project Manager determined the lowest and best bid was submitted by L.J. DeWeese Co., Inc.
FISCAL & STAFF IMPACT: This project will be completed in phases. Eppington Drive will be completed in four (4) phases, and McMillan Drive will be completed in two (2) phases. The breakdown for Phase 1 and Phase 2 is as follows:
