PURPOSE:  Public hearing on Appeal of Property Maintenance Appeal Board Decision

INFORMATION: On July 16, 2026, the Property Maintenance Appeals Board voted to affirm the property violations cited regarding the property located at 4025 Curundu Avenue. Staff found the structure to be unsafe and unfit for human occupancy due to its deteriorated condition and lack of maintenance. The property also exhibits exterior sanitation issues and conditions constituting a public nuisance, including deterioration, vacancy, and conditions adversely affecting the public health, safety, and welfare.

 

Pursuant to Section 7-2 of the City Charter, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie and Leslie White filed a Petition with the Clerk of Council on August 24, 2026 to appeal the decision of the Board.
