CONTACT INFORMATION: Stephanie Kellum, Deputy City Manager

INFORMATION: On November 8, 2022, this temporary 0.5% income tax levy passed by 162 votes; a vote of 3,447 FOR the income tax and 3,285 AGAINST the income tax. With the levy ending December 31, 2027, City Manager Pope would like Council to consider renewing the temporary income tax levy for another five (5) years by placing the question on the May 4, 2027 ballot. Renewing this temporary income tax will protect the City’s $8.1 million investment and builds on the measurable progress already made.

FISCAL & STAFF IMPACT: Generates approximately $1.5 million for road resurfacing.
