INFORMATION: Appeal filed by Motor City Auto Care. On March 12, 2026, the Board of Zoning Appeals voted to deny the applicant’s request for a development standard variance from Section 1185(e)(3) of the Trotwood Code of Ordinances, to allow an attached wall sign to project above the wall.

 

Pursuant to Section 7-2 of the City Charter, Motor City Auto Care filed a notice of intent to appeal with the Chair of the Board on April 20, 2026; and on April 23, 2026, Motor City Auto Care filed a Petition to Appeal with the Clerk of Council.

RECOMMENDATION:  Affirm Decision of the Board of Zoning Appeals
