INFORMATION: The City of Trotwood will host an Electronic Waste Week and Shred Day for Trotwood residents only. Services include electronic waste collection, bulk trash collection, and shredding services. Electronic items to be accepted include computers, televisions, cell phones, microwaves, clocks, cameras, stereos, and monitors. Light Bulbs and batteries are PROHIBITED.
Electronic Waste Week will be held at the Trotwood Public Works Building located at 2400 Olive Road, Trotwood, Ohio 45426 and will begin on Monday, August 3, 2026 and run through Friday, August 7, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Shredding services and bulk trash collection will be available on Saturday, August 8, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
FISCAL & STAFF IMPACT: Expenditures not to exceed $2,000.00 include shredding services, roll-off dumpsters, signage, and other necessary supplies.
RECOMMENDATION: Recommend Approval
