Motion to schedule a Public Hearing by the Trotwood City Council and authorize the Law Director to draft required legislation, pursuant to the ORC Code 727 Levying Special Assessments for the 2016 street paving program in the City of Trotwood, Ohio made by constructing repairing or replaced certain sidewalks, curbs, gutters and driveways on North Broadway from Main Street to the Bridge on North Broadway.

PURPOSE: The owners of lots bounding and abutting the sidewalk, curbs, gutters and driveway approaches need to be repaired in accordance with the plans and specifications, estimates and profiles now on file.

INFORMATION: This motion is needed in order for the Trotwood City Council to pass an Ordinance to move this project along within the next 30 days
FISCAL & STAFF IMPACT: This fiscal impact to staff is labor and cost of materials if non-compliance is an issue for certain property owners that can be assessed to their property taxes.
RECOMMENDATION: Approval of motion is recommended on the consent agenda for City Council to consider the legislative Ordinance at the Monday, July 5, Regular City council meeting.
