PURPOSE: Habitat for Humanity has requested a waiver of all Zoning Fees in the upcoming year.

INFORMATION: Zoning Fees for a new home include the following fees: a Residential Zoning Permit ($100), Zoning Compliance ($50), and Parkland Dedication ($450-650). A waiver of these fees in 2017 could show the City’s commitment to support home ownership with their organization. Habitat built 2 homes in 2016 in the Twin Creek Neighborhood. They continue to enhance our community and the surrounding property values by building high quality homes on vacant lots within our subdivisions. Habitat clients are choosing to live in Trotwood and be part of our community.
FISCAL & STAFF IMPACT: Zoning Fees per house range from $600-800.
