PURPOSE: Habitat for Humanity has requested a waiver of Zoning Fees in the upcoming year.

INFORMATION: Zoning Fees for a new home include the following: a Residential Zoning Permit ($100), Zoning Compliance ($50), and Parkland Dedication ($450-650). A waiver of these fees in 2017 would show the City’s support of Habitat’s mission to encourage responsible homeownership in our community. Habitat continues to enhance our community and the surrounding property values by building high quality homes on vacant lots within our subdivisions.
FISCAL & STAFF IMPACT: Zoning Fees of $600-800/ home built in 2017
RECOMMENDATION: Approval as submitted
