INFORMATION: Introduce Officer Jordan Turner; Jordan was born in Dayton Ohio in July 1993 to Timothy (Sergeant with MCSO) & Cynthia Turner. Jordan has 2 brothers (his twin) Tyler & (younger) Tim. Jordan graduated from Miami East H.S. in 2012 and began an internship with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, which initially sparked his interest in the field of law enforcement. Jordan attended college at Ohio Northern Univ. from Aug 2012-Dec 2015, where he graduated with Bachelor’s Degrees in both Criminal Justice and Sociology. While attending college, Jordan completed internships with Trotwood PD & Beavercreek PD. Jordon also traveled to Kosovo and was part of an investigation into Human Trafficking and trying to identify the root causes of corruption within the Kosovo Customs Unit/Border Patrol. Jordan enrolled in the Greene County Police Academy Jan 2016 and graduated June 2016 with the Exceptional Service Award. Jordan was hired as an Auxiliary Police Officer with DeGraff PD; serving from Aug 2016 until March 2017, when he began his career with the Trotwood Police Dept.
