PURPOSE: To provide for the means to remove inventory and declare surplus as non-value added and/or functional

INFORMATION: Attached are photos of vehicles presently in Public Works Fleet that currently have out served their purpose. Each vehicle has reached its ability to be repaired due to mileage, condition, unavailable and/or discontinued parts. Currently each of these vehicles are stored at Public Works which could be potentially detrimental to the environment and take up room for current and future vehicles and/or equipment
FISCAL & STAFF IMPACT: Reduction in Insurance coverage as well as man hours and expense to repair
RECOMMENDATION: It is the recommendation of the Public Works Project Manager the Council to allow the listed items to be deemed surplus and allow the Fleet Manager the ability to dispose of the items in anyway determined to be removed from inventory
