AN RESOLUTION APPROVING THE SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT PLAN OF THE MONTGOMERY COUNTY SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT DISTRICT

PURPOSE: As a result of House Bill 592 passed in 1988, each Ohio County is required to establish or join other countries to form a solid waste management district. The Ohio EPA requires that nine waste reduction strategies be implemented that will enable the District to meet the goals established in the 2009 State Plan

INFORMATION: Attached Plan from 2019-2024 is to develop and implement programs to achieve a waste reduction and recycling rates, education & outreach, and grant programs for our community commercial, industrial and residents.
