A RESOLUTION BY TROTWOOD CITY COUNCIL AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH PENNCARE FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) 2019 FORD F-450 XLT 4X4 TYPE I MEDIX AMBULANCE IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $175,230.30.

PURPOSE: To provide information to Council concerning replacement procedures and cost

INFORMATION: Please find attached documentation concerning the purchase of a new/replacement ambulance. This will be the replacement for the apparatus that is at it end of service life. This is to be funded with proceeds in the 2019 budget in Capital vehicles and equipment, along with a requested additional funds from a 3 year loan.

RECOMMENDATION: I would request that Council gives their approval for a Resolution to allow the City Manager to enter into agreement to purchase a 2019 Ford F450 4x4 ambulance from for the amount of $175,230.30 as provided under the State of Ohio bid process.
