A RESOLUTION BY THE TROTWOOD CITY COUNCIL GRANTING APPROVAL OF THE EMERGENCY WATERSHED PROJECT, PROJECT #39-10-19-5077-402 (WOLF CREEK STREAM TRIBUTARY, STORM DEBRIS REMOVAL), AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE’S NATURAL RESOURCES CONSERVATION SERVICE TO SECURE FUNDING AND COMPLETION OF THE PROJECT.

INFORMATION: Completion of the documents/forms for assistance through the USDA-NRCS’s EWP program to remove fallen debris caused by the May 2019 tornadoes from portions of Wolf Creek streams & tributaries to prevent future flooding
FISCAL & STAFF IMPACT: EWP program will pay for seventy-five percent (75%), or an estimated $135,957.75, of the project with the City responsible for the remaining twenty-five percent (25%), estimated to be $33,989.44.
RECOMMENDATION: Recommend Approval
